NOTICE OF 63 DAY NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON A MASTER PLAN FOR FENTON TOWNSHIP

The Charter Township of Fenton, in Genesee County, Michigan, has prepared a draft Master Plan. In compliance with the requirements of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (PA 33 of 2008, as amended), we are notifying you that a copy of the proposed Master Plan dated February 7, 2024, is available for your inspection. The copy can be viewed and printed from the township’s website at: https://www.fentontownship.org/planning

As required by the Act, the authority to distribute the Plan was granted by the Fenton Township Board of Trustees.  According to the Act, you have 63 days to provide comments on the proposed amended Plan to the Fenton Township Planning Commission.  Any comments should be submitted to the attention of the Fenton Township Zoning Administrator, Michael Deem.

A public hearing has been set for May 9, 2024 on the proposed Master Plan for Fenton Township. The meeting will be at 6:00 pm and is located at the Fenton Township Hall.
