Payment Options for Fenton Township
Cash
Cash payments can be made at the Fenton Township Office. Office hours for the front desk are Monday thru Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Checks
Please write your property tax identification number on your check for reference.
A contact number would also be appreciated for further questions. Payment will be recorded on the date received not the date it is mailed or the date the check is written.
When using checks to pay for Taxes and Utility Billing they must be separate checks.
Posted dated checks are not accepted and will be mailed back to the address on the check.
For all checks returned for non-sufficient funds, there will be a $20.00 NSF fee applied to the account.
Checks may be mailed in, dropped off in the afterhours drop box, processed over the counter at the front desk, or starting in the fall of 2023 processed online. The new Invoice Cloud processing platform allows for online check payments; however, there is a $3 fee for online check processing.
Checks are considered a conditional payment. If not honored by the bank, tax is considered unpaid and subject to penalties and/or interest due and voided out.
Credit/Debit Cards
Card payments can now be made online or in person at the Fenton Township Office.
There is a 3% processing fee for all card payments whether online or in person.
We cannot accept card payments over the phone at the Township Office; however, InvoiceCloud has a pay over the phone option that includes the standard 3% card processing fee plus $1.00 for the over the phone system. You would call (855) 660-1195 to access; not the Township office.
To Pay by Mail
Make checks payable to: Fenton Township Treasurer, 12060 Mantawauka Dr. Fenton, MI 48430. You will not receive a stamped paid receipt unless a self-addressed envelope is enclosed with your payment.
To Pay in Person
Bring the mailer copy of your tax bill with you to the office along with payment. There is also an after-hours drop box located on the right side of the entrance. Please do not deposit cash payments into the drop box. Postmarks are no longer accepted. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To Pay Over the Phone
Call InvoiceCloud at (855) 660-1195. There is a 3% card processing fee plus a $1.00 over the phone fee. The Township office cannot process over the phone payments.
